| How secure is CHCF's web-based Application? | |
| CHCF's web-based Application is password protected. This means that anyone who acquires your password (on purpose or by accident) has access to your account. It is advisable to keep your password to yourself and change your password periodically. You should always log out and shut down your browser completely. | |
| The following Errors will be raised within the system in case of any attempt to break the security. | |
| Change password for the first time login | |
| The user is forced to change his password for the very first time he/she logs into the system. This is to ensure that the password is personally set by the user and not known to anyone else, not even to the administrator. Since the password is generated by the system as soon as the user is created/activated, the user may not feel secure with his/her password. | |
| Invalid UserId | |
| Valid UserId is a MUST for successful login. In case a invalid UserId is provided during the login, an exception "Invalid UserId" is thrown back to the user asking to enter a valid UserId. | |
| Incorrect Password | |
| Correct password is a MUST for successful login. In case a wrong password is provided during the login, an exception "Incorrect Password" is thrown back to the user asking to enter a correct password. | |
| Password Expired | |
| When you are redirected to Password Expired Screen, please enter your old password and then enter new password which can be alphanumeric. Enter the new password again in confirm new password and then hit submit. This becomes your new password. | |
| User not activated | |
| If an user becomes inactive, the MuniMed Manager has to be contacted. The MuniMed Manager will make the inactive user active, by providing a new user name and a password. This information will be sent to the respective activiated user through E-mail. | |
| User has no privileges | |
| Every user will be assigned a set of privileges. Without any privileges being assigned, an user cannot use the application. In such cases, administrator has to be contacted for more assistance. | |
| Idle Time | |
| The user is automatically logged out of the application if the application is left unattended for a specific period of time. This prevents any unauthorized user from using the application in the absence of the authorized user. The user MUST re-login in order to use the application. | |
| Invalid attempts to login | |
| To ensure the security of your account, the system locks an account automatically after a specified number of continuous failed attempts to login using a particular account ID. The concerned user can get his/her account activated by contacting the administrator. | |
| Note | |

Stop), as any information you have just entered on a screen will be lost.
If a screen you have opened appears incomplete, click on your browser's
Reload or Refresh button. Your browser must be Javascript Enabled for proper working of the application. You should always log out and shut down your browser completely after using the application. |
